Our visit was a while ago, it was consistently great. Tasty food, delicious beer and friendly, courteous service. The next time we visit Oberstdorf, we'll be happy to come back.

Oberstdorf is a very beautiful place, many hikes can be started from there.

We haven't eaten so well in a long time and, above all, experienced such great service. Without pre-orders we came on a Saturday evening and got a table. A quick look into the order book and juggled back and forth and we were allowed to sit down. Our food was there quickly. As soon as our glasses were empty, they asked for a new drink. The waitress noticed that the salad was missing for the schnitzel ... although it would have been enough without him. It was just delicious. Typical Bavarian culinary delight. And great condition. We also had to mention Dad directly. When we're around again, we have to come back.

A great inn, typical Bavarian food and very tasty. Service nice and quick. I can only recommend it.

Great and yet inexpensive eaten in a typical brewery atmosphere. Delicious beer and delicious beer liqueur ;-) We would especially like to emphasize the great wait staff and the service from Stephan, who entertained us very nicely despite the full restaurant! Many could take an example from this.

This is place would have 5 stars, only if they would accept cards. I mean really, what kind of business, in a tourist area does not accept cards?? It's 2020 guys, Bank fees should not be a problem... Anyways food is awesome and their beer is great as well.

This place is very traditional and gives you and overall good feeling. The food is great and the beer is even better !

Ambience: 4/5 Very rustic style. Really nice. Furniture unfortunately a bit worn, which I personally didn't like. But not a major flaw, rather it still fits into the style. Food: 5/5. Those who like home cooking will love the restaurant! Staff: 5/5 Also very friendly, helpful and easy-going. I like it very much personally! Prices: 3/5 Unfortunately, I found the prices for drinks to be quite high. I think it's justified that the food costs more. The drinks could still be improved. Especially because you would want to drink a little more there :)

Every time we are in Oberstdorf, we go here. It has a quaint, cheerful atmosphere every time and the food is good. The best thing to do is to make a reservation while you are planning your vacation - you can easily do this via the website - because it was already overcrowded before Corona and now there are a few fewer seats. My favorite dish is the meat platter. There has been live music again since September 10, 2020. Even though I thought the music and atmosphere were great, we left very quickly because everyone was singing along, and if one of them has Corona, many of them in the unventilated (as far as I could see) room could be infected.

The prices are reasonable. I ordered the knuckle, but you can share it more easily. I ate the 800 grams of meat alone and was overeat. The beer is very good. Size 7.60 euros Knuckle 17.60 euros Beer tasting 6.90 euros

Good food, clever nice service. I promise that a brewery will also give me more reference to beer when it comes to eating (beer sauce, etc.). Deduction: completely inflexible in the courts. Deselection / change was not possible even with a simple court. Reservation only possible in Corona time

An absolute must for everyone who would like to finally meet nice waitresses and who couldn't eat their fill, let alone drink something good! Even vegetarians are really well catered for! We haven't seen anything like it for a long time. Many thanks to your entire team, to you, Michael, you are the perfect guide, to Luki and to all the others. We'll definitely be back. We were greeted very friendly and got a seat without a reservation. Drinks and food came relatively quickly. Food was very good and we would love to come back.

I am now giving 4 stars for really nice and steady service, uncomplicated choice of seats with strollers and the attentive and casual manner with which we were welcomed from start to finish. There is also a free car park behind the building for visitors to the steam beer brewery, which is really handy when you are out and about with your baby in the rain. So you like to come back to the page. The food is not cheap, but still really okay, both in terms of quantity and quality. Drinks tasty and sufficiently chilled. So that also fits, so a recommendation on my part.

Very nice restaurant and the staff is very friendly! The food is very tasty and also traditional for the region. A vegetarian menu is also available, in case you don't eat meat. There is also a terrace at the premises, where you can enjoy your meal and/or a mug of beer. The prices are also affordable. The blonde waitress on the terrace was very friendly and attentive to our needs. :) You should also try the Apfelstrudel, it's very tasty! When on Oberstdorf, we will definitely eat here again.

Nowhere near as good the store ... a lot better years ago. You can tell the waitress that they are under pressure and not always resilient. Everyone has to do their thing in this stressful time, but one or the other has totally reached their limit of friendliness. Thank goodness not everyone is like that. But there are also very nice ones who always take the time for a joke. Been there in August 2020

Had something to eat here yesterday, delicious ... make a reservation in advance, fully booked months in advance. Conditions very friendly and tried very hard, the prices are really very humane for Oberstdorf. The portions are really sufficient and the food itself is really very good. Recommended if you are in Oberstdorf.

Good place to eat quickly and properly. The beer is delicious and cold, the service friendly and attentive, the kitchen fast and good. It was well filled with locals and guests, so I would recommend a phone call if you want to eat with several people - two of us were also welcome unannounced.

We hadn't made a reservation on a Wednesday, so we waited about 10-15 minutes, then we had the choice outside or inside. Despite a nice evening, we opted for inside, as fewer people felt inside and the distances were very generous . The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was hot and delicious. I think the pictures speak for themselves😊

On recommendation we went to the steam beer brewery in Oberstdorf today. We always thought it was one of the "tourist restaurants" with mass instead of class. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and so was the beer. Clear recommendation.

Extremely busy waiting time is over 20min - place isn’t accessible by car but not far walking - keep I mind price is abit expensive but food is very good and tasty

Tasty food, huge portions, price is appropiate in consideration to the amount of food you get, and friendly staff. The house-brewed beer is tasty, too. I definitely recommend it to those who like typical German/Bavarian food.

Absolute recommendation if you want to eat delicious and home-style in Oberstdorf. Reservation makes sense. Very good service, reasonable prices and decent portions. Some dishes are also available as small portions, the selection is great - there are some vegetarian dishes and many desserts. The beer is super delicious too!

Quick and friendly service. Solid beer lineup with a few options. We went on a busy Saturday and weren’t turned away for not having a reservation. There is open seating at the bar.

Good place to drink and to enjoy the music. Food is just ok - there is definitely room for improvement. "Spanferkel" had a very floppy chewy skin. It hasn't seen a BBQ at all.👎would not recommend "Spanferkel" at this place.

Yummmmmmm. Every time I'm in Obersdorf I come here. Beer is delicious, staff is attentive, you won't have to beg for a new beer after 5 minutes of bring empty (looking at you, rest of Germany), but above all, the food!!! Portions are huge and good value.

I've seen the reviews of this restaurant beforehand and wanted to check while I had 2 hour before my train. I made the right choice, this restaurant has it all. All started with the batteries on my phone. I asked if I can get a table where near a socket to recharge. The staff found a place near the bar which gave me the perfect spot to start a conversation with them and taste all the types of house made beer. Just wonderful. Then my food arrived. I quickly realised I had made the right choice again. So tasty and went well with their beer. Highly recommended. Please take your time to enjoy the food, the beer and the hospitality of the staff.
